Job Description

We are looking to hire a full-time IT & Network Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving everyday IT issues, maintaining workstations, ensuring the stability of the office network and network devices, and updating all devices regularly.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to

• Support and assist remote and in-office staff

• Point of contact for all IT-related issues

• Device Maintenance

• Network Maintenance

• Cable Management

• Hardware and inventory maintenance

• Software and hardware installation and updates

• Testing, organizing, and discarding equipment

• General troubleshooting of IT equipment

• Creating and maintaining office IT documentation

• Running tech webinars for staff and clients

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years experience working in a similar position*

• Must have experience using Windows Active Directory*

• Must have experience in end-user support (in-office and remote) and assistance

• Communication skills to train on computer competency

• Must have proficiency in using MS Office and Office 365

• Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent

• Strong understanding of Windows Server OS

• Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, and Mac Operating Systems

• Technical writing skills

• Knowledge of writing macros is an asset

• Dev-Ops experience is preferred

Compensation

• $25.00/hr

Work Location & Hours

• Shifts will begin with daytime hours from 8am-4pm and can be subject to change based on business needs. Shifted schedules can be 7:30am to 3:30pm and/or 11am to 7pm

• Office near Fairview Mall, about a 15-minute walk from the Don Mills subway station
